this is a pre engineered kit for home builders. the peices are engineered fair for mass production yet require a little retooling, i.e sanding , drilling or cutting away excess material. The directions are okay but could be a little berrter written, the sling strings measurements are vague and take experimentation to figure out the propoer length. the ballast for weight is also nebulous, and takes experimentation. good for high school scienc though, and ren faire reenactors to have a little something to play with.
